BELT SWAY SWITCHES
Description
Function :
These Switches are designed for Man and Machine Safety, to avoid accidents, and for stopping the Machine in case of Emergency. In Belt Conveyors, belt swaying occurs due to uneven loading, misalignment of the idlers & due to worn surfaces. Belt Sway Switches are useful to restrict belt sway within the tolerable limits. Belt Sway Switch is mounted on both sides of belt conveyors preferably every 15 to 20 meters.

| Switches are protected against accidental over travel of the operating lever. |
| Special rubber ‘O’ ring on the shaft for better ingress protection. |
| 2NO+2NC contacts are provided. |
| Output contacts are rated for 10A at 240V AC on resistive load. |
| Smooth movement of roller ensures long life. |
| Stainless Steel Roller Sleeve supported on Bush Bearing. (Delrin or Nylon Sleeve Bush). |
| Standard Roller with Chrome Plated Steel. |
| Standard operating position: (1 – 0). |
| Automatic Reset when belt resumes normal Position. |

| Roller with SS sleeve available. |
| Models using ball bearing for roller and cam shaft are also available. |
| Cluster LED lamp indication for identifying the operated switch. This is available on customer request. However not recommended, since Belt Sway Switch is Auto reset type. |
